1965 was the only year when no Chвteau Margaux was produced. Very mediocre quality wines were blended with batches from other vintages to produce a wine under the label of "Non-vintage Chвteau Margaux". This decision may seem incongruous today, but it should be seen in the very difficult context of those times.
