At last, a very good vintage ! The only one in the 1930s… Chвteau Margaux 1934 is still superb. It displays a deep, dense colour and a fine, fresh, complex bouquet. On the palate, it is powerful and rich with tannins coming to the fore, but drying a little in the finish. The quality of the bottles is now inconsistent, but most of the magnums are very good. It is obviously a wine to drink now, which in the future can only lose the wonderful qualities it has now.
