1921 was an especially great year for the wines of Sauternes. For the red wines in general, it was a fine vintage, with elegant and well structured wines, since the harvest was of modest volume. The bottles of Chвteau Margaux can still be surprisingly good. Even though the wine is starting to tire, its great finesse is still perceptible.
